The scope of this project was to transfer Emails, bi-directionally, securely and filtered, between the external network connected to the internet and the internal sensitive network. The defense company requested both to prevent direct connection between the internet and the internal sensitive network, and to control and filter the Emails and their content, against both threats within the incoming Email and leakage within the outgoing Emails.

Application of the YazamTech solution in this case is based on:

Email filtering and transference, bi-directionally and automatically, between the external network connected to the internet and the internal sensitive network.

SelectorIT:

2 units providing advanced Emails filtering automatically, in 2 separate channels:

• The first is used for filtering threats within the incoming Emails into the internal sensitive network.
• The second is used for preventing leakage within the outgoing files from the internal sensitive network.

ShuttleIT:

2 units automatically transferring the filtered Emails, in 2 separate channels:

• The first is used for importing the sanitized Emails into the internal sensitive network.
• The second is used for exporting the laundered Emails from the internal sensitive network.

While the above solution establishes 2 separated and independent incoming and outgoing Email paths, there is an option to establish only a single channel of bidirectional Email transference between the 2 separated networks, using only a single unit of SelectorIT for filtering, and a single unit of ShuttleIT for a bidirectional transfer.
